Adding Multiple Cast to A Rehearsal Event

Need a way to create an event (like a read-thru) and then add multiple elements (like Cast) to it. It's even more cumbersome if we have a read-thru for two episodes, for one read-thru of two episodes with twelve cast members, I've had to create 24 separate events for the DOOD. It would help if events could duplicate too.

I have an idea for this that approaches it from the other side. It would be ideal if I could create or duplicate a strip and then click a box to mark the strip as a rehearsal (or other event). For example, my board has a strip for a stunt scene but now I want to schedule a rigging and rehearsal day(s) prior to the shoot date. I would like to duplicate the strip, then edit the elements, (like remove all the principals because this will just be a stunt Reh day), then click a box marked Rehearsal. This would transfer to the Cast DOOD as letter R and not trigger consecutive employment. Now I have a rehearsal strip on the schedule that everyone can see and plan for and an accurate DOOD. The current method, as mentioned above, would require me to add an event for each stunt player and for each date on the event manager, and even then it doesn't really display correctly and doesn't move if the strip moves. Having the ability to add an R through events is still good but it would be much more functional if I could create such events right from a strip, and have those events follow the strip if the date changes.

Thanks, James! I definitely agree, this could be a lot smoother. We will workshop an improvement here.
