Feature Requests

I was working in Cinapse, and saw that 1.21 was released. I went to try the merge element feature and it wasn't working. When I clicked back to the main Cinapse screen, noticed it said "1.20" was the latest release.... I knew that was wrong, so reloaded the page, and it updated. Once my schedule loaded from that refresh, I could now merge elements. It makes sense that there's an aspect of the app that is loaded into the browser, and with out a proper reload, you don't get the full benefits of the latest version. It would be great if there was a indicator somewhere in the software when you're working OONNNN the schedule, you see the version of Cinapse.

It would be great to have the option to turn on/off events or flags on one liners, shooting schedules, DOODs, etc.

When adding a travel date, it would be ideal if it behaved like a red or orange flag and showed a little airplane on the strip if one of the actors in that scene is traveling the day that that strip is scheduled.

If "John's House" has a Fish Tank inside it, I would love it if it were possible to create a link that applies only to INT "John's House" that doesn't automatically go to all the "John's House" strips, including EXT. At the same time, if there is an Apple Tree or a Broken-down Car on the EXT it would be great if we could generate a link only for the EXT that doesn't "spill" onto the INT

When I'm making updates and checking the reports over and over (esp. since DOOD pane crashes) - it would be great that when I went back to create a report, say a DOOD, that it would remember what my preferences were. It would be nice to not have to check off "hold total" "Travel total" "Camera test total" etc etc every single time.

Currently, our search uses a "fuzzy" matching system, which may produce unexpected results. We're planning to update this to ensure searches return only exact matches.

Would like to have the option to make the entire list of elements in one category also available in another instead of having to manually add them. For example; I have a Gag Category and a Puppet FX Category. I would like all of my Gag Elements when added to automatically be available in my Puppet FX Category list.

Would love to be able to find AND replace text throughout. For example if a character name changes from John to Jack, we could search for John and then replace it with Jack. Would be ideal to be able to choose to "replace all" and boom, all instances change to Jack, and would be ideal to also have the option to step-though each occurrence to "approve" that particular replace-instance. Text-case/match-case should be an option to go along with that as well.

It would be great if when exporting a report (One Liner in particular) it were possible to select a Black & White / print friendly version from within Cinapse so that the generated file does not have any shades and is just pure black & white (for the people who are still into printing and saving toner) - would be great too if it were possible to have white day breaks etc
