Unable to italicize strip synopsis in custom layout manager within a file

I can italicize the synopsis within a template ONLY when I am in the "my account" > "my layout templates" window ... it is not reflected in the Layout Manager within a file, once I have imported that template. A bug? In fact,
no
text in the strips is italicizable once you're in the Layout Manager within a file, DESPITE the "I" as an option for text styling.

Thanks catherine f - this is an issue with the italics button not properly firing (telling the text to actually go italicized). This will be fixed this week.
